It's been real tricky getting back into card making after my hols and still struggling a bit. I had to get my DT cards done and Mr Mojo is still sailing somewhere over the Med.

I decided to make my own patterned Vellum that part was easy, the Impression Obession Rosebuds was stamped randomly with Versamark and then embossed with WOW Bright White Opagne powder. The hard part was trying to tearing it, perhaps it would help if I had my eye open, hate tearing paper. I purposely made my piece of stamped vellum larger because I made a fold and attached it to the back of the card. I carefully place a piece of tape behind some of the stems to attached to the card too.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Painted Congrats die but I've noticed its out of stock for now but there's no reason why you can't use their Congrats. I used Kraft card and White card for my actual card and to hide all the blank space I used Simon Says Stamp Flickering Butterflies but I would be quick before they are out of stock.

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

  1. This is very pretty using kraft and white Debby and the white embossed vellum using that beautiful rosebud stamp works well wrapped round and torn at that interesting angle. I love all the butterflies over the rest of the card and the large die cut sentiment finishes it perfectly. x

  16. Ok. I love everything about this card. I love the Kraft and white together. I love the butterflies, I love the beautiful white roses on vellum. The vellum reminds me of a beautiful veil. And the tiny pearls are the perfect embellishment for a wedding themed card. You’ve brought this all together beautifully, Debby.
