I had this idea for a card using Hero Arts Welcome Neighbor, it didn't quite turn out as it looked inside my head but it did turn out well.
First of all I cheated I couldn't be asked to mask and stamp usually it goes wrong when I'm nearly done so instead I stamped all the different house, colour in using Prismacolors and then fussy cut all of them. It was easy to fussy cut since they were basically simple straight lines but if you prefer there are dies.
I then layered them to where it was pleasing to the eye and no white spaces in between. Once I was happy I stuck then down and used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. The sentiment and clouds are all from the Hero Arts stamp set and just a bit of coloured card to finish off.

ReplyDeleteFabulous card Debby!! I am not sure I would have fussy cut all of those houses, it is definitely a labour of love, I would get the dies to match ;-) The soft colours and fairly simple design are absolutely gorgeous!! LOVE it :-)
