Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is to make something for a girl, think feminine.
Girl Power
We are showcasing Winnie and Walter Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have them we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift voucher to one randomly selected winner to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
I ended up stepping away from the card because I kept adding things to it. First of I stamped the Winnie and Walter Happy Birthday to you cake with yellow ink then pink ink from the Simon Says Stamp Hybrid Fresh Fruit Ink Pads. I then cute the tops of the cakes and swapped them around.
I recently received the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles so I had to use that at least some where so it's the back ground mat to my birthday cake which I raises with some 3d mini squares and extra strong tape on the sides.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles to layer under my wonky frame, it was at this point I thought it looked too simple so I decided to use the Avery Elle Balloon numbers stamp and dies in matching colours.
But I still wasn't happy so I searched for some leaves to make a pretty background and I found some I liked in the Simon Says Stamp Oh Happy Day stamp set. Even then I wasn't happy so I stamped the flowers on a bit of card and cut them out using the dies. I placed the flowers in the corner opposite the balloons then they needed leaves which again I stamp and cut out.
Wasn't happy with all the white space above my cake so I placed a flower there. I added some Glossy Accents in the centre of flowers and now it was time to walk away. Then my camera decided it didn't like the glossy accents and that why suddenly I have orange centres.
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.
I too had to step away from my card this week as I wanted to add stuff to it.
