This was the card I gave to Hubby for our Ruby Anniversary, I used the Oxides but they seemed to come out more orange than red.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles to make my middle mat and I used the Simon Says Stamp Clipping Heart with the Oxides background but instead of using the outline I used the actual hearts. I did use the frame to help place the hearts.
I then stamped the You are using Simon Says Stamp Thoughtful messages. I was stamping on slightly raised hearts and it left a bit of gap. To deal with this I took a fine black pen and carefully drew or dotted the ink to hide the gap.
To finish I used the Simon Says Stamp Perfection dies and used sticky fixers to raise it.
A fab card Debby, gorgeous design

ReplyDeleteI would say you card is 'perfection'! Happy Anniversary! xxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! I think the more orangey red is probably a better masculine color than ruby red, anyway. It's perfect as is.
