Poppies

Still scheduling my post not sure if I'll be up early today after a great time at the crop yesterday. I thought I would post my favourite layout from the retreat. I know its very simple for me but I did say my layouts like my cards need to quick.

It does look so much better in real life. The poppies have been cut several time from a Memory Box die, first in green and then in red. I decided to paper piece them flat, couldn't bear to embossing and layer them. There was so many.

The clouds are Memory Box too and the birds are a Simon Says Stamp stamp but I've managed to get my hands on some Memory Box dies of flying birds. Look forward to using them.

My title cut using a cricut, not sure on the papers probably Echo Park of Simple Stories.

  5. This is a gorgeous layout Debby and your added poppies along the bottom look great and love the mix of papers. We saw just the higher drift of these poppies which were on display at Lincoln Castle last summer, we just happened to be visiting at the right time. They were lovely but I can imagine that the whole display must have been breathtaking and your photos are great. x
