HAPPY BIRTHDAY
We are 7 years old !! Woo Hoo! the last few years have flown by in a flash, they do say that time flies when you're having fun and we are having a blast!Of course a party is called for and to help us celebrate in style the lovely Heidi and Simon Says stamp will be giving away not 1, not 2 but
7 $50 Gift Certificates to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! So you have 7 chances of winning this week!
Of course in honour of this special occasion we are showcasing our very own SIMON SAYS STAMP PRODUCTS this week. You don't have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used!
I saw recently on the Simon Says Stamp Blog ( haven't visited it yet, loads of inspiriation creations) this cute stamp from Melody's Easter holding balloons, well I thought this was brillant but couldn't get the idea out of my head so I thought I would give it a go for this challenge.
I used the pretty Doodlebug Spring Garden papers and using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Oval I made a frame for her. I also for a change cut off the side of the card and stuck some pretty striped on the inside but able to see from the the front of the card.
This also meant I could have my oval hanging over the edge. I also paperpieced her dress Melody was perfect for this.
I had quite a bit of space on the other side of the card so I made some more balloons, all from the Simon Says Celebration dies. I needed some clouds and used the Simon Says Stamp Cloudy Skies but I felt it was time to step away.
Just needed the sentiment which I used Simon Says Stamp It's Your Birthday, do love this set of sentiments.
Here's another image to show the cut off front, thinking now I could have stamped the birds from the Cloudy Skies it wouldn't have looked too much or would it.
So now it's YOUR turn. Happy Crafting

A really cute image Debby and the paper piecing is so pretty, and the backing paper also looks great used for the stitched oval frame and the striped border down the right hand side. I also love the die cut clouds and heart shaped balloons using another paper, and finished perfectly with the stamped sentiment. x
