Catch Up Friday
I don't have a card today but I thought I would do a bit of a catch up. So far I have 15 of each colour way of my crochet squares. I've worked out I need 63 altogether, these square have had their ends sewn in which I do when I have five of each.
I returned to Slimming World where I have lost 2 1/2 pounds might not seem much the first week but my brain keeps telling me it can't be possible to eat that much and lose weight but I have a very supportive consultant but if I can lose a couple pound a week thats fine by me.
We were going to see MIL this week but her nursing home has been closed to visitors due to having some resident with the Novo-virus. If no one becomes ill today they may be open tomorrow but we decided with the cold spell at the moment we will postpone the visit till next week.
Since we not going away this weekend I've decided to have a colouring day and make cards tomorrow although I have a couple of DT card to be made first.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your weight loss.

Those squares are lovely, well done. The sewing in of the ends though tends to put me off this kind of project, together with joining them all up at the end!
ReplyDeleteThese squares are so pretty Debby and much better to visit your MIL next week when hopefully the weather will at least be warmer.
ReplyDeletePretty crocheted squares! Looks like you've been busy!
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern love the colour combo and big Congrats on loosing your weight. Im loosing weight and have lost 2 and a half stone so far am aiming for 5 so plenty to go yet. Learnt to crochet from an Octopus book back in the 70s as it illustrated left and right handed how to hold the thread and all the stitches. Where did the pattern come from?
