This week the challenge is

THANKS/THANKSGIVING

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

My DT card was made very quickly because I decided I wasn't keen on the one I had made. So I cut out my frame using Simon Says Stamps Stitched Squares and using the Simon Says Stamp Apple of my Pie. The stamp set came with the Simon Says Stamps November Kit but you can buy the stamp set on it own.
It helps if you have a small acylic block for each leaf and each leaf had its own inkpad. I've used Olive Green, Orange Peel and Goldenlocks but you can use any Autumn colours.
The large sentiment is also from the stamp set but this time I used Versamark and WOW Gold Pearl Embossing powder.

This was my failure I added a bit of acetate under the frames for the Simon Says Stamps Thanks die to sit on but decided to add some matching red leaves. After I stuck it all together I could hear Julia Roberts saying in my head BIG MISTAKE.

So now it's YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting

  1. They are both really lovely cards Debby but I do agree with you that the replacement being slightly less busy is nicer and the frame shows off the leaves beautifully and the gold embossed sentiment sits perfectly in the middle. x

  6. No big mistake. It's only a matter of preference. I do like the replacement card best, but I'm sure there are others who would like your original card best.
