Tulips

This is a lonely card in my drafts mainly because I'm not keen on it the finished result but I knew there was nothing anything really wrong with it that I could justify popping it in the bin. I was experimenting with watercolours but I'm a bit of cheapskate and I don't have any watercolour paper so I was limited to what I could do.
The papers are left over bit of Simple Stories and the frame is the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp. My tulips are Clearly Besotted.
I'm not a happy bunny I thought my snuffly nose was due to the Air Con at the hotel but no its a cold and I thought it was getting better but Oh No I have now developed a cough. Coughs are bad for people with neck and shoulder problems.
Do have some good news my brother is a lot better and is hoping to come home from hospital soon, but on the other hand my Aunt Hilda has passed away. She was married to one of my Mum's twin brothers and was the last of that generation. Has I informed my sister yesterday we are the older generation now.
Enough waffling and moaning, fingers crossed I get  to make at least one card today in between the barking dog noises coming from me.

  7. Your card is so beautiful, I love the framed tulips with the soft water color look, they are so lovely even if you didn't use water color paper. Love the DSP, it compliments your main image so beautifully.
I'm sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers go your way. I also hope you feel better soon from your awful cold.

  8. I love your watercoloured tulips Debby and the white embossing enhances them so prettily. Glad your brother is on the mend but sad for the loss of your aunt. I remember feeling quite daunted when my mum's youngest sister died and I realised that my cousins and I had now taken their place! Hope this new cold is short lived. x
