Numbers

Trying to find inspiration I found a card on Pinterest using numbers but I've looked for the card and I can't find it now. To be honest the original card was a lot better than mine but I'm still pleased how my turned out.
The number die is Simple Numbers, the stars are Large Holiday Shapes and the Happy is part of the Happy Birthday die all from Simon Says Stamp even the Birthday sentiment is from their Birthday Messages set.
The papers I'm pretty sure are Doodlebug well the zigzag one but I'm now thinking maybe the background came from one of Simon Says Stamp kits.
I was thinking of giving this to my BIL but something else came up, so he's getting a different card.

So whats been happening in the Yates's household well Tuesday was the first day my husband felt like her was retired/on holiday and by twelve o'clock I was thinking of sending him back out to work!
I don't recommend new pillows day two and I'm still getting used to them or I should say my neck and shoulders are getting used to them. This morning was better than yesterday.
And wait for it the cold is still hanging on we are now thinking maybe we moved from the cold to hayfever!
I have a made a card or two none that I can show yet but it does seem to take longer with hubby home.

  8. Lovely card Debby.
Hubby needs a hobby or needs to joins some clubs related to his interests so that he has 'his' time and doesn't impact upon yours.

  12. A fabulously bright and cheerful card Debby, great papers too. I'm sure life will settle down to a smoother routine in week or two though, it's a big adjustment for you both to have hubby at home 24/7.

  13. This is a lovely card Debby and love the added letters and the tabs and stars and such pretty papers too. Having a husband at home does take some getting used to and I do find it more difficult to get on with things but it is nice to go out during the week to do things when other people are at work. x

It seems sometimes that your time is not your own when hubby retires, but you will adjust to it!

  20. Fab card, love all the number and the papers.
It is quite a shock to the system really when Hubby retires it took me 3 years to get him trained, the worst bit was, before I had even put a foot out of bed, he would say "what are we doing today then?"
