There's a new challenge on Everybody Art for Bakers Twine, I nearly didn't make it because somehow I had confused myself and made a Babies card. Lucky for me this card was on my desk and I was able to add some Doodlbug Bakers Twine to it.
To be honest I'm not sure the card works but it was hard to make a sympathy card and I was trying to use the CAS(E) this sketch. Anyway it did mean I had a card for the challenge and if I had known I could of posted a card yesterday.
Of course my flowers are the Hero Arts poppy stamps this is the thinner one and I also used the MFT scallop die for the little pink edge which I could have shown more off in hindsight.
The sentiment is a sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp set but I've had a tidy of my craftroom and I can't find which set!
The sequins are irridescent and show slight pink, green and yellow colours if it catches the light right.
Do pop over and check out the team, also hope you can join us this week.

Oh Debby, this absolutely does work - brilliantly. That poppy stamp set is one of my favourites (no doubt purchased after seeing you use it previously!), I like the teeny bit of scalloping just peeking out and the sequins are a lovely touch.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing OK - it's been a rought ride for you - Spring is showing signs down here in Hampshire which is always a bit uplifting.
