SplitcoastStampers Sketch

I'm still playing with my January kit from Simon Says Stamp mainly an idea came to my head when I saw the sketch SCS525 on Splitcoaststamper. I decided to use snowflakes going across the card to make the border in the sketch, the snowflake in question is Simon Says Stamps Maryann.
Thinking about it now they would look better on a band of acetate to make it look like they are floating but that idea came to mind after I had stuc the snowflakes.
I stamped and embossed with clear powder the sentiment that came with the kit.
We got some white stuff falling from the skies yesterday but it was hail, it laid like snow and we had a good inch and bit. The stuff laid like snow luckily it soon melted away.

  5. We had that hail as well Debby, it was awful but then left a nasty slushy mess and this morning it's minus 8, a tad chilly.

Anyhow, your snowlakes are bang on trend and lovely colours for the weather and I shall wait for the ones dancing on acetate.

  6. This is super pretty!
We had some hail, then suddenly a blizzard out of nowhere and a couple of inches of snow in about 15 minutes, then just as suddenly there were blue skies! I could do with more of the latter and less of the white stuff! x
