Hot Colours

While searching for a sketch I saw a sketch on last weeks Sunday Sketch and Stamp. The first thing that came to mind was triple stamping. I missed out the mat in the centre but made sure that I get a good couple images there.
I stamped the sentiment direct to paper to and used a bit of twine across the centre mat and used a matching die for one of the flowers for the corner. A picture might help you to see what I mean.

The stamps and die are from Simon Says Stamps called Hi Lovely and I chose summers colours of yellow and orange. I was stuck for the colour for the mats then I saw a yellow and black card recently which inspired me to use black.
On the card I use Liquid Pearls the red is still misbehaving so he may be replaced but the gold was fine. I used actual pearls of the die cut flower to help it stand out more.
Off to have our eye's tested today with Hubby working all week Sunday opening makes life easier but not sure its what I really want to spend my Sunday.

  19. What a fabulous stamping job you have done. Love the colours and layers.
I have had a go at 3d paper piecing today on my blog, after admiring lots of your cards featuring it. You are one talented lady when it comes to layering an image, I found it quite difficult, but thanks for the inspiration to give it a go.
