Quited Strips

A few week ago I was reading on someone's blog how to use those strips that come with paper pack, which I have done here. Taken the strips I like and stick them together and embossed them together to get like a quilted effect again seen that also on someone's blog.
I added the contrasting strips cos I didn't like the finishing of the strip ideally they would have looked better with actual stitching but I haven't been brave enough to use my sewing machine on card.
I also use one the cards that sometimes come in pack too. This time I added the Simon Says Stamps Birthday sentiment and added the silhouette leaf stem again from Simon.
The flowers are CC designs and the leaves are MFT.

Back at 2pm with a new Challenge for Simon Say Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

  11. Love these strips with the embossing on, and I think the green card over the joins works perfectly. They are gorgeous yellow flowers, and pretty open leaves and sentiment. x
