Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Thank you for joining us for our Spring Flowers Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. We will be back soon with the name of the lucky winner of the $50 Voucher This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,
DIE CRAZY
please use Die Cuts on your creations. If you don't have any then we will accept punched shapes too
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
First of all I cheated a bit by using the Sketch on Splitcoast Stampers SC 487 but once I got the idea of using the Spellbinders Curved Border for the side it all just fell into place.
The flowers are using the Simon Says Stamp Flower Garden stamps and die set in fact I coloured several of each so don't be surprised to see more. I just have to remember if I'm using the dies not to colour over the edge!
Once again I've used the Simon Says Stamp Really Big Thanks stamps and die set but this time I've used the stamps you can buy with it.
The doily is actually Spellbinders Stately circles which I drew round on Pink which then was cut out and glued into place behind. I did find I had to trim it again.
To give some texture and detail I've used the Penny Black Interlocking die but I cut out a small bit of it.
Now to finish I had to so something to the centres so I used Glossy Accents but I had to wait till all the glue was dry to avoid curled edges. I treated each dot separately which the camera hasn't caught but it does look better in real life.

This is lovely, so crisp and fresh looking. I've used the curved dies on a card but nested them... took forever to align for some reason - and then you see this one-die effect and it's fab! Donna x

Ooooh this is a beautifully designed card. All the different elements are really well thought out and the colours work so well together! I think I loke the shiny flower centres even more than the pearly ones and I can feel a potential purchase coming on with that curved border. Hugs, Lesley
ReplyDeleteWOW, Debby, what a stunner! A fantastic mix of die-cuts!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you blended the 3 dies so beautifully into this design through the use of white on white. It reminds me of one of those ornate garden walls in designer gardens. Blessings!
