Daffodils

This card was intentionally for the Less is More Challenge having only embossing the spellbinders die but as you can see its not one layer. Mainly because I realised I had embossed on linen card and that wasn't the best surface for stamping on.
It also didn't help that I had made similar flowers for the Penny Black card tomorrow and loved how they turned out and had to make some more.
The flowers are a punch and then using a quilling tool I rolled the centres with a strip of card. This is the only bit of quilling I can do so don't expect quilled cards.
Love the Penny Black word die so while its new I must use.

I do like the way the card embossed and of course the camera doesn't pick it up but its definitely something I will try again.

  16. OMG - I love these daffodils! I have been thinking and thinking how I could make some simple daffodils for Easter cards. This is it! Thank you so much for this wonderful idea. I'm not a quiller either, but I think I can manage a rolled flower center. LOL
