Spring colours
Since I always blog in the mornings it wouldn't be right to not pop a card on my blog until the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge at 2pm. But I didn't have one all my drafts are gone and Mr Mojo hasn't returned, the last straw was a finished card that I managed to get a dirty mark on and I couldn't cover it to make it a happy accident! It went in the bin and I haven't felt like making cards since.
I felt guilty for not using much of the Feb Simon Says Stamp kit, one I'm having difficulties cutting the papers they are so pretty but I love the stamp set but this is where Mr Mojo has flew the coop.
I had the idea for this when I saw last weeks Freshly Made sketches and even though the sentiment is not centred I didn't want to split the thinking word. It was bit rushed but at least I have a card for today.

These stamps have made an excellent card Debby. The colours are lovely, and the panel idea works splendidly. It is so frustrating when you have spent time on a card only to have to throw it away because of some silly accident, but I can see that mojo is still alive and kicking. x
ReplyDeleteStunning Debby makes me think of spring - I can't wait to have all this cold, cold weather and snow gone!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh.... Spring! Your pretty card is a welcome reminder that Spring is around the corner. And don't worry about Mr. Mojo. I think you probably just exhausted him with all of your creating and he has just gone away on a wee holiday.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Debby. Love the design and the image is lovely. I know it's frustrating when Mr Mojo goes walkabout. He left me earlier in the year, so I know how it feels. I am sure it is to do with all the upheaval you are going through and of course the break in. You are human you know! Take it easy. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's a very pretty card. It's simple yet impressive. Nice job.

This does not look rushed. It looks as though you had a plan and executed it perfectly. The floral part is striking and the Thinking of you is a gorgeous font!
ReplyDeleteThe wild frontier of global travel is offering fewer and fewer places for the more adventurous-minded traveler. Backpacking is just another option to carrying a suitcase, tent camping is offered at five-star resorts, and unless you want to visit a war zone, chances are good that your international destination will be, for the most part, comfortable, civil, and safe.
