Another Baby Blanket using Granny squares, the baby in question is going to be a boy and although my daughter had doubts on my colour combo with lots of white its worked out fine.
My corners didn't quite work out has they should but I unpicked them several times so this will have to do.
Trying to make a slash neck jumper with drop sleeves at the moment but that may need some unpicking too.
Lovely blanket.....:)

ReplyDeleteGosh Debby, This blanket is so lovely and perfect for the new baby boy.
ReplyDeleteI crochet but don't follow a pattern, just make granny squares and sew them together, but to get a more even pointed corner do you not just need to add more double crotchet or chains in the corners?? Not sure just a guess. Looks gorgeous to ma tho'. DebbieX
Love your blanket. I really need to have a go at crocheting as I love these blankets and the look of granny squares. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to have a go. I think your colour combo has worked out brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteSo bright and colourful Debby why worry about the corners they look good to me.
