Distressing

Gosh it feel like ages ago that we had our last blog hop but here we are with the first BLOG HOP of 2014

It Danielle whose chosen the theme this month and I didn't get distressed over this card well apart for thinking the hop was next week. I just roughed up the edges and inked everything including the image mat so it would work with the old Stampin Up papers.
I thought the image To Grammys would work perfectly for this theme and I was right. The border round the image mat is MFT Crochet Border and I used their swirl die but cut it up to fit round the image. I didn't add flowers since it was quite busy already.

Now you should jumped over to me from Julie and now you need to HOP SKIP and JUMP to Heidy. Don't forget to comment on the way there are two vouchers on offer.

  47. Lovely card. I must remember your trick of making straight borders go around a circular element.

  48. This is a lovely image and a rather Victorian/Edwardian looking little lady. I love her heart shaped case and her little pockets to match, and that cute doll tucked under her arm. I love the way you have made the flourishes follow the shape of the frame, and the lace and ribbon finish it perfectly.
