Sparkly Tree


Sorry a bit late this morning so I'll be quick so I can publish asap. My card this morning was for the CAS251 Bling Up challenge on SplitcoastStampers. It just so happened that I've a pot of Tim Holtz Distress Glitter on my desk and I decided to make the glitter strips with double sided tape.
Then it was a case of what to put on the rest of the card, decided to use the Whimsy embossing folder and to see if liquid pearls would look ok on the dots as you can see they turned out fine.
Then I decided to use the layered tree from Simon Says Stamp which I've only used once. I ran my branches through the tiny xyron so it was sticky and added the glitter.
Spent the rest of the day wearing glitter though.

    Lovely colour blue glitter, and such a nice embossing folder enhanced beautifully by the liquid pearls. The Simon Says layered tree is an interesting and unusual designed tree, makes a change from the norm.
