I didn't really have time to make any more cards this week but I saw on SCS that the clean and simple challenge #CAS249 is Red and White and I thought I could do something quick, famous last words.
But actually they were quicker than perhaps my normal cards.
The first one is using the Simon Says Stamps Layered Tree, I've had the stamps and die set for a while but life got in the way of using them but this challenge gave me a chance to use the dies.
I've used some Lily Bee papers that looked like candy stripe and cute the tree branches, bit of kraft card for the trunk. The star was with the layered tree which I run through the xyron and covered in glitter. Used the Happy die from Simon Says Stamps and the stamps from the Christmas sentiments. The white mat was made using a Spellbinders. For simple card that was a lot of instructions!!
Hopefully this one is much simpler, I just cut out the Penny Black Holly die and added liquid pearls for the berries. Yes that would be the Merry Trees sentiment embossed with white embossing powder.
