Dressed to Scare

Can you believe its the first Saturday in October it only seems five minutes ago it was September but what it does mean a new challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Since it the month of Spooky things including my Birthday its time for Halloween on the challenge.
I've resisted buying new Halloween papers it was hard but I have been trying to use the old stuff including the papers for this card.
First my Penny Black image is Dressed to Scare and my sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Hey Pumpkin set.
My tree is from Memory Box Tall Birch Tree and I used Woodland Branch die then I tied bits of black cotton on my tree ( very fiddly with fingers that didn't want to) then I stuck the Memory Box scary spiders on the threads so they look like they were hanging down.
Do pop over and check out the team and hope you can join us too. Please remember you must use a least one Penny Black stamp to enter the challenge.

  25. So many cute touches with this one Debby ... the tree, the spiders and especially the tiny pieces of thread to mimick spider webs .. so cute. And of course, the image is just plain adorable. I'm not a Halloween person but I certainly love this card.
