Wagon Wheel

My daughter's friends Baby Boy has arrived and at some point this will be handed over.
Granny squares and Baby Blankets are ideal for me cos they are not too heavy to work on. This  pattern is called Wagon Wheel I possibly found in on Ravelry.
But I did have to alter it some what because the holes were large enough for tiny feet and hands to get trapped in.
From the centre the first white round were longer than I've done and the next white round have 6 chains in the corner so I made that 3 instead.

I have  a pink one on the go now but its a different pattern and theres lot more white but it does look like I may have worked out how to do petals.

  4. Beautiful blanket Debby. I wish I could do other stuff with my blankets, but I just do lots and lots of squares and then sew them together. I have made lots of baby blankets but this one is so lovely.
Have you ever seen the bobble wool to make a baby blanket? Oh it is so nice, you will have to have a quick look and see if you like it.
    Its Rico Pompon wool.
