My daughter's friends Baby Boy has arrived and at some point this will be handed over.
Granny squares and Baby Blankets are ideal for me cos they are not too heavy to work on. This pattern is called Wagon Wheel I possibly found in on Ravelry.
But I did have to alter it some what because the holes were large enough for tiny feet and hands to get trapped in.
From the centre the first white round were longer than I've done and the next white round have 6 chains in the corner so I made that 3 instead.
Stunning crochet work Debby, beautiful baby's blanket, i'm sure it will be treasured, Kate x

Beautiful blanket Debby. I wish I could do other stuff with my blankets, but I just do lots and lots of squares and then sew them together. I have made lots of baby blankets but this one is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen the bobble wool to make a baby blanket? Oh it is so nice, you will have to have a quick look and see if you like it.
Its Rico Pompon wool.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the pattern. I see that your next quilt will be pink I look forward to seeing it! When I am doing my own projects I use the Color911 app for color inspiration, I highly recommend it, it's fun to see new color combinations.
