Falling Hearts
A few weeks ago I was made to make an Engagement card in a hurry but I made two in case my DD didn't like one. This one was rejected since it was the first one I made, it was a good job I made another.
I used the Falling Hearts die from Simon Says Stamp and I had to run it through twice to get this size. The heart punches are from Martha Stewart, possibly retired but I've been drooling over these.
The reason my DD didn't like it I have a habit of tucking my ribbon ends round the back of the card which you shouldn't be looking at and inside which when I add an insert you vaguely can't see. I do this cos I don't like the main mat not sitting flat but according to the family I'm in the minority!!!!!!!!!

OMGosh I love this, great colors and design. Love the falling hearts die and the MS die. That's so funny they don't like the ribbon attached to the back! It's your creations and you make them anyway you want, lol.

I think this is a definite winner, so can't image the gorgeousness of the one chosen. Love this heart die, and great use of the MS punches. (this one is so versatile too). I loved your color combo, and the sparkle of the grosgrain red was beautiful against the white. TFS
ReplyDeleteI think this is a lovely card, Debby, but I guess I have to agree with your DD about those ribbon ends. :)

It's a lovely card Debby, I've started "hiding" the ends when I use ribbon because my son had much the same reaction to the ends showing. I checked out the link for those heart dies... very drool-worthy indeed - you naughty girl 'making' me add to my Wishlist! Donna xx
