Bright and Sunny

Gosh where is the year going it's now the first Saturday of the Month and time for a new Penny Black Saturday Challenge and with the hot and sunny weather we've been having lately we've gone for Bright and Sunny Challenge.
I've chosen to use this sweet little girl she's a slap stick but I'm going to post this now because Mr Virgin is in a hissy fit because we had a thunderstorm last night and keeps dropping out.
Fingers cross he lets me update with the links and details.
Back to the little girl she is called Flower Girl. With a challenge that included Sunny I had to use my new Sunshine die from Simon Says Stamps and I embossed the centre and used a bit of silicone glue to raise it.
The papers are Cambridge court from My Minds Eye and I didn't think my sunflowers would look like the one she is holding I decided to not use any but to use an old butterfly punch that I've had for years instead.

My sentiment is using Simon Says Stamp Happy and Sentiment set and I've used from favourite border die from MFTcalled a Crochet border to go round my oval.
This is how many pieces I cut out not too many this time, I'm making a card using a Wee image and boy does that have a lot.
And this is the mess I make for just one card I have to tidy just a bit before I can start again.
Now don't forget to pop over and see what the team has been up to and we would love it if you would join us.

  7. This is a great layout Debby and the little girl on your card is certainly a little ray of sunshine. Thank you for including a photo of all the decoupage pieces you cut out to put her together as it's made me appreciate the amount of work that goes in to creating the images on each card. Have a good weekend.
