Chervons
Well if you were expecting a cute Penny Black I'm sorry but inspiration and time this week wasn't forthcoming but I did make a Penny Black card using Gossamer.
I was trying to make a quick card so stamping on patterned card stock then cutting out wasn't that quick luckily the sketch made it easy.
I used the Freshly Made Sketch and some leftover papers I couldn't throw away although the chervons make my eyes hurt even the tiny ones in the flower. Not sure whose papers think are they may be Basic Grey.
I had to use the MFT Crochet Border Die well its a must when using a circle, found a LOTV sentiment that could mean anything.
I used yellow for the centre of the flowers to pick the yellow in the patterned paper but the beads are micro beads that are used for nail decoration and cheap. All I need now is to work out how to get them back in the miniature bottle, they went in eventually but not before well it looked like several thousands escaped.

I love this card Debby, gorgeous image and colours together are wonderful, have a great weekend, Kate x
ReplyDeleteWahoo Debby, that's stunning. I really love everything about this card - mind you, I bet you never make a bad 'un!
ReplyDeleteThe teensy beads - my guess is that a little funnel such as those used to fill perfume atomisers would do the trick. Try Boots the Chemist maybe?
Hope you have a great weekend!
Hugs, Di xx
Love your card Debby what a super image and I love your Chevrons

I am picturing the beads rolling to every corner of your desk...that is what seems happen to mine...or anything small and round for that matter. Weeks later I find an errant one or two!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card...I do know what you mean about the larger chevrons hurting your eyes...but I don't mind the teensy one n the flowers at all.
