Thanks Debbie...floods of memories of my grandfather (my Mums Dad. He was originally from Cleator in Cumbria.
ReplyDeleteHe took me on first trip to England when i was just 14. We went for 6 weeks! I fell in love with England and have returned many times over the years.
He was a brave soldier...fought in WW1 and the Boer War. I have pictures of him marching in his kilt. He was in the Royal Iniskillen Fusilliers (sp).
