Do you like my penquins, well thats what I planned, I brought them especially for this challenge a pack of clear Stampendous penquins I thought the shiny black embossed penquins perfect for this weeks dry or heat embossed challenge on Simon Says Stamps Challenge.
No I haven't lost the plot well maybe a bit, the team is showcasing Stampendous not a requirement for the challenge but to give an idea of some of the manufactures that SSS sell. My penquins are missing don't think they like our wet summer and have cleared off. I've obviously put them in a safe place just wish I could remember where!
So instead I used the Stampendous Jumbo Hollyhocks which came as a shock when it arrived I had obviously missed the word Jumbo whilst ordering. I also used the Romantic Rectangles from Spellbinder, combined the two and I've a large card.
I've heat embossed the Hero Arts Flourish Background with gold embossing on the plain MME papers and used gold card to mat and layer. With a Memory box border die and the Cuttlebug corners to finish, not forgetting a bit of gold ribbon out of my stash, now its finished.
We have a fabulous prize but of course you have to enter the challenge to be in for a chance to win it.
Gorgeous card! Beautiful flowers - I love the colours :-) Love 'n' hugs, Mel xx

Ooh, it's lovely. I was looking at those Romantic Rectangles, nice to see them "in action". Mind you I like that Memory Box die too, all I need do is find somewhere that sells both at a reasonable price so I only have to pay one lot of postage (it can be exorbitant to Australia), of course the problem is once I find such a place I order LOTS - to justify the post; is that false economy? probably! lol Donna
ReplyDeleteOMG, Debby, your flowers are so great. I love your card very much.
