A Penny Black Summer Hop

Penny Black Saturday Challenge has had a revamp so to celebrate we having a blog hop with some fab prizes from out Sponsors and some of the team have candy too. Now I already have a Penny Black stamp set as candy (see this post here) but I think I can find a bundle of ribbon and flowers as a little prize so just in case the blue frog can't cope with two of themselves I will add Mr Linky.
So the challenge this month is for Summer and since that has deserted us here in the UK we've added the living is easy.
But I do think the sun was shining at the time I made this card, its disappeared since. I've used the cute Bumble Bee Puddy cat and I knew I had to use the yellow gingham paper from a set of Echo Park. Once I decided I was going to make a Sun none of the papers allowed the yellow to show up, so in the end I used the swiss dots embossing folder.
I'm going to have to find some more black gingham ribbon if I keep using it but it worked perfectly with the bumble bee outfit. Had to used daisies, made from Woodware punches and the leaves are Cheery Lyn.
