More Paper Piecing
Now this isn't my idea, I managed to do some blogging, no thanks to Mr Blogger who keeps hiding my blogs I follow but I saw that someone had used the die waste and then filled it in with the same die. Not sure if Less is More consider it still paper piecing.
I cut out the Simon Says Stamps exclusive Meadow Rue die in green and in a scrap of lilac paper. I then cut out the the flowers, stuck the buds but embossed the back of the open flowers and used a bit of silicone to give them dimension.
The dotty border is a Martha Stewart bunch but its only the edge showing, I've tried to find one in a shop so I can link but can't find one so I may have to photo it later, but it does mean I won't have to buy the one I used on Saturday from Stampin Up although I may have to buy that green twine that I borrowed from the card I didn't make on Saturday.
The butterfly is a Kars punch and the sentiment Woodware using Stampin Up punches.
