I loved her First


This was the post I planned for this morning but showed a card instead but still thought I would blog this today too. This is using the sketch for Scraplogy Scraplift challenge.
I've had to alter some of the placing of bow etc to work with the large rectangle picture but overall I love it.
The strips at the back is using a Martha Stewart punch anywhere punch and matching punch for the corner frame of the photo. I stitched round the circle although no obvious in the photo. Then it was a case of using the Grove branch (I think thats whats it called) from Memory box, the Magnolia Swirl, MFT flourish and the daisies are the Stampin up die from Sizzix. I also using the Stampin up big note die for the verse of the song from Heartland which is the song Father and Daughter danced too.
I couldn't believe how long this layout took.


This is a page that will be placed along side the one above so I've used the same papers which I know it called Happily Ever After but can't remember who from. Sorry that it looks a bit wishy washy it isn't in real life. But I used the same daisies and swirls only the corner is different.

    A beautiful layout Debby, I love the song "I loved her first" and want Mac to have it have at her wedding (she's only 9 by the way lol)
    But when I played it to her I couldn't make it all the way through without crying and that set her off so now she says she won't have it LOL
    I hopefully have a few years to talk her round !

    Two simply gorgeous layouts - love the colours on both of them and the range is Fancy Pants - I only know because I am currently using up a kit using those papers.

    These are beautiful. I love the colours and that paper arrangement at the bottom is lovely, may hve to scraplift that.

    Wow - so many comments! But your layouts deserve so much attention - the detail is lovely. Yes they take time - but don't you think it's worth it in the end? Beautiful layouts and the colours do look quite vibrant on the screen. :)
