I also took a pic of some cardstock its Ok I don't want you all hyperventilating its the wrong cream but it helped covering the gap that was letting the draught in yesterday but its just too cold today to make much of a difference.
He're some scrapbooking that I finished lately, the first is complement the layout I did for the Scrapbuddies Sketch challenge. I find I prefer doing double layout this way.
Here's the two together.
Here's a double layout you, I never very keen of the end result in this case it meant I use the photos I wanted to use.
Happy Birthday Andrea
I'm not saying how old she is cos it makes me look really old. We off to have dinner at the Thai Terrace in Guildford somewhere on top of a car-park sounds awful but gets great reviews pity we're not going in the daytime cos the views are brilliant apparently.
Hello Debby, ooh are they the new Penny Black 2012 stamps? I got excited when I saw those, love the mini with hedgy in it :0) great use of card, you could always stamp something pretty on it? or maybe draw the sunshine, hee hee, thanks for sharing, great layouts too, Have a great Tai-me, Happy Crafting, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteLove your scrapbook pages Debby, I also like to do the double spreads, just seems more pleasing to the eye. I would love to go to those places for afternoon tea. That's something I miss about England....the tea shops.....and cream tea, of course! Although now that I'm doing W/W online too, I doubt that I'd have one....maybe just a taste. lol. Have a super nice day Debby,
ReplyDeleteLuv, Babs xo
my craft room is cooler than the rest of the house...but, we have been pretty lucky here for a Canadian winter. This week and last....up to plus numbers if you can believe it...and hardly any snow to speak of really. Can see the grass... although it is dead and brown and ugly...not green like you guys seem to have all winter.... we are just waiting for the rotten cold weather which we are sure we will get eventually...and hoping it doesn't ever show up ..hahahha
ReplyDeletethanks for the crafty snoop debby...try and keep warm...hugs kath (63) xxx

ReplyDeleteFabulous layouts - those papers are just perfect for your photos.
ReplyDeleteOoooh did I spy a new London Penny Black stamp???? I am sitting on my hands at the moment and resisting buying - I want the bus and the mini - I am sure I will cave in once I see people making lovely cards with them LOL!!
I normally craft in our conservatory which, even though I hate, loathe and detest the spring and summer, is a delight when I have both sets of French doors wide open BUT right now I share your problem of it just being way too cold! I LoVe stamps too but try to avoid buying too many ... I don't make cards to sell so once I've used a stamp for as many people as I can I tend to not use it again. LoVe your layouts! Debbie #84
ReplyDeleteHi Debby... oh you have bought the London collection bus stamp... I love this! I have resisted buying as yet but feel that won't last long ;) Great layouts! Shelly x

ReplyDeleteFab scrapbook pages! I wish I would get my finger out and have a go at these but there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day! I'll have to check out that restaurant too! Was it good? Hugs, Lesley
ReplyDeleteOh, that bus is gorgeous. I live in Canada but have family (as does my husband) in England. We try to go every couple of years. I am overdue for a trip as I missed our last one so DH took eldest DD in my place!
ReplyDeleteLonging to ride on one of your fabulous buses again.!
Wish I could send you some of our weather. We normally have freezing rain this time of year...but I was out walking just in shirtsleeves today...lovely and warm...unusual weather!
Gorgeous layouts!
ReplyDeleteI don't think sheets of card will win many awards for insulation! But good effort! Hopefully it'll warm up a bit soon.
I'm working my way through this weeks WOYWW - I’m slowly getting there!
