But would they call it that at Less it More Challenge. I've been have a play with my new Memory Box dies that arrived from Simon Say Stamps. This is the Flowering Christmas tree which I cut out twice and cut the flowers out and then punched some stars. I used the sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge from last week but used embossed mats. A bit of silver ribbon and a craftwork card sentiment to finish.
Now in case my first card isn't classed as Less is More this is the one I made originally for the challenge and before I started playing with the new dies. Various sized punched stars and the christmas sentiment you can't get more simple than that
Oh yes you can I used Memory Box Winterland tree, it did give me a few problems cutting it out but a shim (a piece of thin card or paper to you and me) worked a treat. Apart from a gold peel off what could this fabulous tree need.
I'm in the doghouse at the moment, my craftroom is in an outhouse, out of the back door. Now with the colder weather the door has been shut and I didn't hear the Postie knock on the front door with a parcel. To be honest the parcel from Simon Says Stamps shouldn't of been here yet, it had barely left the shop in the US not that I'm going to complain that it arrived in super quick time. But hubby had to got to the PO depot and got stuck in all sorts of traffic jams but at least he's not going this morning since the road he would have to travel on is under two feet of water!
wow.....a very simple but elegant cards.......

Hi Debby...
ReplyDeleteall three cards are fab.... particularly like the first one with the different colours. I have the 2nd tree die that you're showing... and am struggling to use it... It does work fine with a shim in my machine, but then I struggle with knowing what to do with it on a card!! LOL
