There is part of me that now wishes I left the white poinsettias on this card, it looks fine in real life but once again the camera has picked on my flowers and made the red brighter than it is.
Anyway the card is using this week Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Just Magnolia challenge is for ribbon so the gingham ribbon work for that.
Short and sweet today my secret project I've started on at the Crop needs finishing and I didn't get a point that I wanted yesterday so I feel I'm behind already.
A visit to MIL soon means the Christmas cards need to made, inserts placed and written before 1st December as well as some presents brought and wrapped but I'm not stressing who am I kidding!

ReplyDeleteHi Debby, what a cute Tilda card, I do love the colour you've used. It's such a delightful Christmas card. Love all of your added embellishments but the red and white gingham ribbon just sets the card off perfectly. Great job and thanks for sharing your card at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.

Brilliant card, I can see what you mean as you can just see a tad of the top flower, the one underneath looks to be more the colour of the red/pink of the image. I hate my camera, it never behaves.
ReplyDeleteLove the card.

ReplyDeleteI struggle with red on my photographs too .. . and turquoise blue for some reason.
Love Jules xx
Another beautiful creation. I know what you mean about the change of colors when you put a camera to your card. I think pinks and reds are the worst. I love the added circle of flowers. Such a nice touch. Have a great week and take a deep breath. It will be January before we know it and we will wonder where Christmas went to. I can't believe how fast this year ahs gone by.
