So its a good job I saved this card for today its using this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch. I did struggle with this My Minds Eye paper its all a bit too busy. But I'm trying to use it up, the pretty flower paper it probably the last decent bit and the funky flowers were punched out of some scraps left of the dotty paper.
Since it is so busy I've had to leave it pretty plain then I'm use to and leave the Penny Black image to do the talking.
Don't worry I do have a card for tomorrow since its my Mum's Birthday today so I can show what I made for her.

Ooh, yummy card hun! Those PB meece are the cutest (smiles). I don't think you needed anything else with the business of the papers - it's perfect as it is, any more and it would be too much. Well this is superb, nice papers, busy but they don't take over from the image. The stamp and your use of it certainly speaks for it's self which to me is the way it should be or why bother using the stamp, just my humble opinion.

ReplyDeleteI agree, I like MME, but some of it is a little bit busy and its quite hard to neutralise sometimes, but you have done a smashing job with this, its bright and cheery.

This is lovely! Yes, the bp is busy, but the white MS lace tones it beautifully, and the flowers are very funky! It's a very sweet image, too. I really like this card!!
