This week at Penny Black Saturday Challenge the Challenge is Milestones! So we want to see you create something celebrating a big Birthday, Passing a Driving Test etc ...
Since a certain member of the team reach a big Birthday thats was my inspiration for the my card. I wanted to use this fab pattern paper from My Minds Eye there laid my problem it was darker than I thought and I couldn't cut into it or cover it up. The rest of the papers had a touch of orange in it so I coloured my Hedgie up to that colour now I'm not so sure I like it. Worst of all it looks better in real life.
So check out the team they've done a much better job than me and I will have to have a rethink of the card I'm going to send.
I spent most of yesterday glue to the Telly wasn't it fascinating and so beautiful a real fairytale wedding.
What a great card Debby ;o)

Am so loving the card. It seems that quite a few people are hitting the big 50. Loving the colours you've chosen, they aren't too dark at all and those numbers are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely lovely Debby - love the image. Hugs, Claire x
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the nicest "50th" cards I have seen. So many times, they are sedate and dark or the other side, really goofy. Yours is colourful, rich and just plain sweet ... personally, I wouldn't change a thing.
