cherry blossom

This started as an experiment, I wanted to see what a panel would look using my Cherry Blossom border punch from Martha Stewart. I didn't like the stars being gaps so using the cropadile I use the waste to stick behind each flower, now I like it.
I also used some deckle scissors to chop of the tips of the retro flower so they look similar to cherry blossom. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday but used a frame for one of the mats cos I couldn't find another piece of Basic Grey that pleased me.

  4. It sounds like a lot of work to me to put all those waste pieces behind the flowers, but it was worth it, it looks great. Like that frame by the way, I hate when a sketch asks for another panel and no matter how hard you search, you have no dp that will match. Great idea.
