A New Nellie

I'm started to love Digi's instant downloads and in this case the new girls. I think they're gorgeous but when you reduce the size you're compacting the shadows making them darker and I'm not sure if they like being 3d.
This is Faith and she seems to be a bit sad so I instantly felt the card should be a Thinking of you and in my craftroom I also thought the card shouldn't be cluttered but seeing it here now it looks a bit plain.
The sketch is from Sketch Saturday and the papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs.
I stepped on the scales today, not pleasant, so it's carrots and lettuce till Easter, yuck.

    Love the image and yes she does look sad,love the colours and layout you've used...I'm with you the scales have done me no favours,think they may be lying so will get a second opinion at Mum's..lol..

    Wow, I love this "new Nellie" . I like the card, yes it's a bit plain, but I know that you wanted it to fit with the sentiment....
    Maybe a few small swirls under the flowers? I don't know, I would'nt make this card to busy too......

    Not plain at all Debby, just perfect. She is sad and certainly suited to3d and thinking of you. The cat was probably sitting on the back of the scale so its not as bad as you thought lol

    Debby, I think your card is PERFECT! All too often I feel people can go a bit too mad with the 'bling' and the card becomes too cluttered. I love your card ;)

    Hi Debbie, love your card. Great image even if she does look sad....maybe she just stepped on the scales too!!! pesky scales.... Yep i think we are all with you on the diet or atleast have good intentions. I have started swimming again after many many years....the worst bit was plucking up the courage to get the swimming costume on!
