Pink and Petulant
I have a friend who loves pink and she had the cheek to call me Petulant but they say it takes one to know one but when I saw this fabulous image from LOTV I knew I had to have it. It is perfect for my Petulant friend.
Just add a fab sketch from Bev on LOTV challenge and the job is almost done.
Honestly though I downloaded the papers from Sweet Shoppe Designs I think they're Zoe Pearns and very pink. I used the MS deep edge daisy punch for the borders and EK success flower punches in white to try and break down some of the pink. I glittered using stickles on her dress and her tirara. The sentiment is from LOTV too.
I woke up at some ridiculous o'clock and out of interest I checked the BBC weather, our nearest observation centre is Farnborough Hants which is where my Sis lives and it was saying the temp was -7, it may be a while before my little room warms up.
I'm planning to do what I did last year My Favourite Five Christmas Cards of 2010 and My Favourite Five Cards of 2010 and maybe have a random candy since I've duplicated a couple of slapstick stamps and I known for hoarding ribbon and flowers. But I need a blinkie or a fancy graphic for it but I don't have the patience and have no idea where to start can anyone help.

Such a fun card! I love seeing all of the layers and pretty extras that you put into your cards. :) I can certainly try to help you with a blinkie, if you still need someone! I can't make it like the Simon Says Stamp blinkie that actually moves, but I can work on a "flat" one. If you still need someone, feel free to e-mail me (Katlyn) at kndkdesigns@gmail.com. :)
ReplyDeleteOh absolutely DARLING!! I love your pink colors and the layout is gorgeous!! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my, we do look a little bit put out...gorgeous card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! - I can make you a fairly plain blinkie (I just tried it myself and it seems to work ok)if you email me with the pics and words you want to include, first pic, words, second pic, words or whatever you want your blinkie to do, Mary x
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love the colorus, details etc .. and esp how you have made the borders of the matting fancy - can't work out how you did that!! Have you tried Jo at Siggi Shop for a blinkie? She designed my blog header and does all sorts ... link to her on my blog sidebar
