The Engineer

This is the first digital image that I've coloured, usually prismacolours, sansodor and inkjet ink don't mix, they smudge and it annoys me a lot. I've read that if you clear embossing immediately after the image is printed works, so I gave it a try and it does seem to work or at least with this image.
But I'm a lazy crafter and by the time opened word, insert the images so I could 3d, I know I only have to do this once, print, then go out to my craftroom, put some clear embossing powder on, plug in and use my heat gun I could've have stamped half a dozens of images and more.
So the image has to be exceptionally for me to go through all this bother and this is one of them .
Mo's drawings are stunning and this one is perfect for those dreaded Men's card and the Pebbles patterned card with A spoonful of Sugar sketch all goes perfectly together.

  1. OMGoodness Debby! This is just a stunner (again!) I don't know how you manage to make these gorgeous cards at a quick pace! I do envy you! lol! You can add this beauty to your stash of men cards! Gorgeous work!

I can't seem to muster enough courage to print out the digis I already have for fear of screwing them up when I color with copics... sigh.

    Have a wonderful day!

  18. you are hilarious Debby! I am ROFL with your post. I total get it. I found that only my epson printer works with digital images. It is not my preferred printer either so I have to go upstairs to my son's room to use it. Yuk! I do love what you did with this though and it was so worth the hassle. Fantastic colors!

  20. This is manly-beautiful, Mo's work is sooo worth the digi troubles. I've been working with one, well, trying. I printed 3 images, cut out everything, ready to put them together and what do I discover?? 1 of the 3 images is larger than the others!! WHY!?!?!?! Worth the trouble though, well worth it. This looks fantastic, great work!!

  47. I'm with you, Debbie. I hope stamp companies don't stop making stamps and just go with digital images. I really prefer the "real thing." That being said, though, this image is darling! And your coloring and layout is wonderful!!!
