I would have finished this card ages ago if I chose to do faux stitching but oh no I decided to hand stitch instead so I could enter this card in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Their stitching challenge cried out to me to use this stamp that I brought secondhand so was a bargain too. The papers are the gorgeous My Minds Eye, the flower is a woodware punch you have to punch it out twice to get the fully daisy look.
The sketch if from Dawny P on the Papertake Weekly, I wanted to used my MS doily punch but it was being tempermental and I think I may have treated it badly that it might need replacing.
Oh Debby thats absolutely gorgeous, I love the colour combo and the stitching really makes a gorgeous statement. Well done with love and hugs Shirleyxxxxx

ReplyDeleteHi Debby xx This is fabulous chick. You did a great job with the sketch and the colours and image are just gorgeous - love those mice :) The doily punch is so temperamental. I worked my old one to death and I am now on No 2!!! Every time it plays up I keep thinking that this is it again. If you need a new one, I THINK Tracy at Dies To Die For has some in and they are very reasonable as well. But here's hoping it's just having a diva strop!!! Thank you for joining us at PTW - hugs, Dawny xxxx
