Spoonful of Friday

A spoonful of Sugar is a challenge for a shaped card other than a square card, I decided against a circle card because of the bulky way I make cards and you have to try and balance the card so its doesn't tip so I decided on this Octagon card. I made all my cards from A4 cardstock so I first made a template on the Cricut. I guess you could be fed up with seeing WOJ spring kit but I've only just started to use them and I thought she would look cute sitting on the edge. I've still haven't conquered my fear of Damon the sewing machine so the stitching is by hand. The papers are SEI and the flowers are Poppicrafts.

So when the Scrapagogo kit fell on my head, the fab heart embellishment was in the pack along with Bittersweet BG card sticker and when I saw the Hugs and Kisses I knew I wanted to use it for Laura's sketch on 2sketchers4you. The semi circle at the top is a flap held down with a magnet, the idea I can hide a message underneath, I was thinking this could be Anniversary card for Hubby but I think I already made him one.
