Soggy Tuesday

The one time I didn't check Daring cardmakers blog only to find the challenge is an Oriental card not using red and black, it was to late because I had already paper pieced my Oriental girl but I did use Sketch Saturday sketch and the Basic Grey Challenge was to use two different ranges which I have the green background is Archaic and the rest is Boxer. The lovely sweet Oriental girl is another Dream2stamp and she comes has a pair.

Now the Penny Black challenge was for Romance, so I thought this pair of geese would be nice a quick card to make till I decided I wanted the scenery background stamp from Alota stamps to be behind them and because I decided it would be Anniversary card for hubby I needed to find some more masculine papers then I put flowers on it, so its not all that masculine after all. I used the Ismaki sketch because I needed help because its a large card. The sentiment was done on the PC, its really corny but its out song, it was playing on the radio when we first met.And a big Thank you to Joey for this marvellous award, she not feeling very well at the mo, nasty tooth abcess hope it gets better soon.

Its a good job DD is not going to work today, the Pub where she is assistant manager is on the river and its about to burst it banks.
