Lavender Cards

There's a fantastic sketch on Magnolia V Stampavie and I decided to use this cute Tilda but I wanted to tear white layers for snow and if I just cut her out you wouldn't see the swirls, so I made the background and stamped Tilda on it, knowing of course with all the bumpy layers it wouldn't stamp well so I cut out another Tilda to sit on top of the image and layered Tilda as normal, that way you could still see the swirls. I used my last favourite piece of BG LillyKate, its all gone now. I've also had to use a mirror image of the sketch because Tilda is looking to the left and she wouldn't look right using the sketch as it was.

I've been really good all my Christmas Cards have inserts in now and I've done a count and I'm still short. I really need some quick and easy cards and thin cards, my cards do tend to be a bit bumpy.

So with the help of Laura's sketch #13 on 2 sketches 4 you this card was made along with a couple more. I used lavender Brilliance ink to stamp the words and couldn't match the ribbon so I used the inkpad to colour a white ribbon. For some reason the word panel looks crooked but I've check the cards they definitely straight in real life!

I couldn't believe it but Moni (nixe07) sent me an award, if you haven't already you must check out her blog, her colouring is breath-taking. Now I have to sent this on to 5 more blogs so I better go have a look around to see who hasn't received it yet.
