Mimi and Snowman

This card was hard to make, I was trying follow Annie's challenge of K.I.S.S keep it simply sweet


Here are the K.I.S.S. rules to follow every week: Your main image can have a maximum of 2 mats. Your text or other embellishment can only have 1 mat. No shop bought embellishments allowed (that means no ribbon, no posh flowers, no brads, no gems!) Only one layer of patterned paper on your base card. You can colour your image in any way you like. You can use punches and die cutting. Pens and glitter are positively encouraged! Well you gotta have a bit of sparkle in life! And for this week the theme is rectangles and squares. You should make your base card a square and your main image and text (or other embellished area) a rectangle. I've started you off easy and hope that new crafters will come and join in, especially as this week you don't need any fancy equipment. Remember, your finished card should be Simple and Sweet.

I have no problem making flowers or in my case snowflakes and I nearly used a bottle of stickles and my brads are punched circles embossed on the back and my image is sweet Mimi from Pink Gem but no ribbon, it needs a ribbon, I want to put a ribbon on it somewhere, anywhere.
Back to the card while I get over the fact there is no ribbon, the papers are My Minds Eye colourful Christmas.

P.S Did I mention that there is no ribbon on this card!!!!!!!!!!!!
