A couple of Gems

I must have photo this about a dozen times and still her face looks wishy washy which of course it isn't in real life. Shame really cos I love these Country Cousins from Sugar Nellie. The papers are BG Wisteria and there's a fab sketch from Marlene on the Sugar Bowl, the hearts are buttons and the the ribbon belongs to DD I had to raid her stash cos I couldn't find any. I want to put a flower in the top left corner but the papers and sketch are quite busy so I resist the temptation.

I haven't paper pieced lately and this fab stamp from dream2stamp just cries out for it, add some suitable papers from Dovecraft and a brilliant sketch from Stamp with Fun and this is what I ended up with and have to say I'm very please how she turned out. I've used punched butterflies normally I would have got out the brads and some punched flowers to finish off.
