For a Girl

I missed the last challenge on Everybody Art Challenge so pleased I was well enough to make this weeks new one of For Girls or Valentine and as you can see I went the girly way.

I'm using one of the Saturated Canary girls that I brought before she closed her shop and she was quick and simple to colour.

Another quick card, I don't where the time goes and I could of done without feeling pants for two weeks.

Found the sketch in Pinterest, I have a board just for card sketches. The papers are some old Scrapbooking ones that I decided would work better for card making.

The leaf swirl is a Cheery Lynne one and the flowers are some old MFT ones, the scallop border is Stampin Up border.

Popping up to Wisley this morning to see the butterflies, means there will be no card making today but I'm home this weekend so I hope to have a good play in my craftroom.

Aww I love this image, she's an oldie but still such a goodie! I remember colouring it up for my sister's birthday several years ago now. Timeless and gorgeous! Love your decoupage on the image as always, it adds such depth and dimension. Gorgeous card design too. Hugs, Wends xoxo

She's gorgeous, you've given her the most fabulous shiny hair! I'm sad to hear that Saturated Canary have closed, I hadn't heard :(
