Heart Pants

Phew things have been a bit chaotic round here for the last couple of days. First the bad news that my MIL passed away on Wednesday, she was very frail.
Second decorating is a messy business especially the amount of rubbing down the walls needs and the dust its makes and the cleaning it takes to clear it but the walls have been lined and ready for painting.
Thirdly the cold water tank in the loft has sprung a leak and started to come through our bedroom ceiling unfortunately the plumber can't get back till Tuesday and the only water we have is in the kitchen so I'm looking forward to going out today and DS is cleaning his bathroom so we can descend on him for showers tomorrow.

Now I've recorded all that lets get onto some more interesting this months Penny Black Saturday Challenge and its for Red and/or Hearts, my little Hedgie has both.

Now my card I'm just thankful I managed to make one since I spent most of yesterday dusting my craftroom. Since I will probably give this one to Hubby I wanted to make it more of mans card and that was my mistake its not like you can plaster it will flowers.

The papers are some new ones I want to say American Craft but don't hold me to that and I used my scallop nestabilities to cut my scallop circle frame.

The Love You die is from Simon Says Stamp but it does have an I but it didn't look right so I added the stiched heart that came with the Simon Says Stamp Surely Stitched Heart border I used on Wednesday.

Don't forget to pop over to check out the challenge and the fabulous creations the team have made.

Today I'm at the Bracknell crop and although I've packed my bags my heart is not really into scrapbooking today but it will be nice to get out of the house.

I saw a card of yours on Pinterest and just had to take a closer look at your site. Dimensional paper piecing has always been my favorite go-to technique. I enjoy using all my stamps in this manner. I love your cards! Thanks!

I'm catching up and was so sorry to hear of the loss of your MIL, it still hurts even though it is expected.

AND then the water leak, OH! I know what that feels like, same thing happened when my Dad passed.

AND then you produce this fab card. I love it and the fact it IS masculine, it's lovely, I'm sure hubby will love it.
