Wishing

What's better than one card that will be two cards. I made these flowers to go on another card but it didn't work out so rather than throw them away I made these card.
The first one is for the Freshly Made Sketch this week, the flowers which are Watercolour Friendly Flowers from Simon says Stamps, these ones I did get the stamp and die set, so no fussy cutting.
I did add a bit of pink colour to the centres but its not showing up that well and I added Liquid Pearls in Opal for the centres. Laid the flowers out to match the bottom part of the sketch. The Stitched scallop is Lawn Fawn die, just to bring interest to the border.
To finish I used the Wishing die with words set again from Simon Say Stamp.

On this card I used the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Shapes for the large outside of my cards and the Stitched Rectangles for the frame inside. Now I know that gold embossing is popular at the moment and by the time I've been brainwashed to like it, it will be out of fashion. I much prefer Silver which why I used on my card for the sentiment and then I added the flowers. I thought it was about time I used the heart from bundle of shapes so added that as well.
Well I hope everyones has had a good Easter, I thought my cold was getter better but it hanging on and hanging on. The excitement at the moment is the Magnolia Twig that was a Twig dried out and dying when I got it and been planted in my garden for nearly five years has four huge buds, still looks like a twig. Anyway with the outlook for a sunny day I'm hoping today it will flower properly, camera's at the ready.
