Boat Boy

This is about my limit of making cards at the moment clean and simple. I quite liked the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches the other week but only had time to use it now. Since the image mat is at an angle I always try to cut it so the image is actually straight. Of course the camera isn't helping much but that is the finished look.
The cloud papers is LOTV along with the boy image and the waves are MFT with a bit of Doodlbug twine to bring in the red colour for his boat. The sentiment is permanently on my desk and I've no idea now whose it was now and I stamped it in a postition that if I made a mess of it I could easily make a fishtail banner to hide it.
My routine is changing although I said when hubby retired he would have to fit in with me but he's working evenings so we changed things around. We are doing more in the day together and when he goes to work I try to make a card or two. But it also means later mornings so I must try to remember to schedule my posts to catch the early risers.

Love the colours and cute image. I think that is an LOTV sentiment maybe from the little bears A5 sheet? I thought hubby was retired, has he taken an evening job? x

I love this boy clutching his bost and the angled topper works really well. I think the LOTV cloud paper and the waves die with the baker's twine are great choices and love the colour with the red, blue and white. x

You're so precise, Debby, with all the elements of your cards. I probably would have had him half-tipped over! Such a cute image, and I love your waves and twine.
